Fanfiction
Post-canon first time fic, set either in Attolia or their house in Magyar, would be fantastic. If the story's set in Magyar, then alt!Hungary worldbuilding is a huge plus.
One of my favorite things in canon was the very different sets of expectations that the two of them were working with, and I would love to see more of that--anything from a simple comparison of their different perspectives on a situation to full-blown cultural misunderstandings.
Other possibilities to explore: Kamet finally gets glasses; Costis becomes surprisingly passionate about natural history; Kamet and Aristogiton get to know each other.

I feel so much sympathy for Godekker and his utterly shit life and would love to see more of his story. I'm especially interested in backstory about how he escaped from slavery and came to settle in Zaboar; or the immediate aftermath of Kamet's and Costis's departure and how he processes the brief but eventful time they stayed with him; or what happens if/when he does end up helping some other runaway, as Kamet suggested he might.
