The Hamiathes' Gift Exchange is a fanfiction and fanart exchange for the Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner.

If you don't use Dreamwidth, you can also follow the exchange tag at the Sounis LJ community, and announcements will be posted to the Hamiathes' Gift Exchange on Tumblr.

The schedule for 2018:
  • Character and relationship nominations: June 19th through the 28th at 10 PM EDT
  • Signups: June 29th through July 8th, closing at 10 PM EDT
  • Assignments sent out: July 10th at the latest
  • Fanworks due: August 18th at 10 PM EDT
  • Fanworks revealed: August 25th at 10 PM EDT
  • Artists/authors revealed: September 1st at 10 PM EDT

Hey! Really glad you're doing this again, and I can barely wait :D

I wanted to ask if it was also possible to do matching on worldbuilding like for the Goblin's Emperor exchange? Personally, I'd be really interested in that, too. If it's too much extra work, though, I'm totally fine with the way things are!

I don't know how you want to run matching, so either like that - worldbuilding as an alternative to characters - or as an alternative to relationships, possibly?
I really like worldbuilding in the greater sense of the world, like possibly the discourse between Relius and the Magus; or greater mythology specifically about Eugenides the God, or Immakuk and Ennikar, and they aren't really divorced from the characters.
That could also be put into optional details, of course, so idk how that would be done best.
